Israeli authorities close sole Gaza crossing

Gaza Strip, (Pal Telegraph)-Israeli authorities closed Wednesday Karem Abu Salem crossing located in the south part of Gaza Strip, preventing goods and aids into Gaza strip for security purposes.

Raed Fatouh, Gaza crossing official, said that occupation authorities announced today the closure of Karem Abu Salem crossing today and prevented the entry of goods.

On Tuesday, Israel allowed the entry of 128 vans loaded with aids and goods for agricultural, commercial, and transportation sectors including four vans carrying construction materials for UNRWA projects .

Karem Abu Salem crossing is currently the only point for Gazans to transfer their goods, especially after Israeli decision to close permanently Al-Montar crossing which was dedicated for fuel and feed.
