Gaza Strip, (Pal Telegraph)-Israeli authorities announced today to close Karem Abu Salem crossing on Tuesday and Wednesday because of the Jewish holidays.

Raed Fatouh, Gaza crossing official, said that Israeli authorities will close Abu Salem crossing preventing aids and goods into the besieged Strip for security purposes during their festivals.

He pointed out that Israeli authorities opened Sunday Karem Abu Salem crossing to allow the entry of 210-220 vans loaded with aids and goods for agricultural, trade, and transportation sectors including 12 vans carrying iron and cement for UNRWA projects in Gaza Strip.

Karem Abu Salem crossing is currently the only point for Gazans to transfer their goods, especially after Israeli decision to close permanently Al-Montar crossing which was dedicated for the import of fuel and feed.
