"I was delighted when she told me she would be excited to be a part of the film," Goodall, 77, said of the altruistic movie star. Jolie appears in the film working on a sustainability project at Goodall’s home.
"Sometimes, caught up in the moment, people promise to give their support but don't, or can't come through,” Goodall continued. “That was not true with Angelina."
Other famous friends involved in the project include Pierce Brosnan and Dave Matthews.
“Jane's Journey” will debut in around 500 theaters on September 27. On that night, Goodall will be broadcast live to the s
