Massive works in Gaza port to receive “Freedom Fleet”

Gaza, May 27, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Massive works in progress in the Gaza port as it prepares to receive “Freedom Fleet” which carries aid material and solidarity activists.

The workers have been working round the clock to level the streets of the port to facilitate receiving the fleet.

Workers are trying to make the port's berths deeper as it was usually receives only fishing boats.

The bulldozers are working day and night to finish the work as soon as possible.

Removing the rubbles of The Government Ministries complex - Gaza

1212Gaza, May 22, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - The destroyed buildings of The Government Ministries complex which was targeted during the Gaza war by Israeli F-16 fighter planes in 29th December, 2008.

Bulldozer removes the rubbles of the destroyed buildings.

The rubbles are now being removed and then re-cycled to be used in the construction of new buildings.

Because the materials needed for new construction are banned from entering the Gaza Strip under the Israeli siege, stones are re-cracked and iron is re-used.
