Cairo, December 30, 2009 (Pal Telegraph) -The Gaza Freedom March remains in Cairo without enough buses for the 1400 participants to gain access to Gaza. Egypt offered 2 buses for 100 people, but the majority of Marchers wanted to veto this offer for a commitment to unity of all
We did not want to split the group and want to maintain the Unity in numbers to respresent a larger global awareness of solidarity to break the siege of Gaza.
This action respresents delegations from Canada, Italy and many others. In soilidarity the particpants will begin a walk to Gaza tomorrow in a nonviolent protest.
Participants are encouraged to stay focused on the greater mission to end the blockade and stop the Wall. Freedom for Gaza And Palestine are the central goal.
