gazasea_copyGaza, January 25, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - The Hamas-Gaza Government Committee to Break the Siege in Gaza has announced that the biggest fleet to defy Israel's blockade will reach the besieged Gaza Strip from Geece at the end of March. The fleet includes 20 ships from several European countries; it is expected that the number may increase.

The committee added in a statement that the ships will carry food, humanitarian aid, medicine, medical equipment  and small, symbolic amounts of cement, steel and construction equipment needed to rebuild the massive destruction from the Israeli attack.

The committee explained that the largest number of ships will be from Turkey and Greece, along with other ships from Sweden and Italy.

The "Government Committee to Break the Siege" indicated that a number of European parliamentarians and a large number of peace activists from several European countries will come on board. The committee expressed its appreciation and warm welcome to the fleet and its supervisors.
