Gaza, February 1, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Israeli occupation forces shot and wounded a Palestinian man before arresting him on Monday. The man was approaching the Gaza border fence, the Israeli army and Palestinian medics said.
The man was transferred to Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba for medical treatment. He will later be investigated.
Israeli military spokesmen declined to say whether the man was armed, but said he had ignored warning shots.
