Gaza, March 27, (Pal Telegraph) Calmness prevailed in the various border areas of the Gaza Strip after the expectations of an Israeli aircraft revenge bombing for the killing of senior officer in the Israeli army in addition to the death of another soldier and wounding three in the operation that occurred in Khan Yunis.
Palestinian journalists along side with large numbers of citizens were waiting for jets bombing especially in the tunnels on the border with Egypt as usual but the night passed quietly, without any bombing mentioned.
Analysts predict that Israel stood still for several reasons, including: The stormy weather which prevailed in parts of Gaza and the surrounding areas in addition to the fact that its Saturday, where mostly no military operations are carried out by Israel. The analysts didn’t rule out the possibility that The Arabic summit could be behind The postponement of revenge so as not to be justified by the occupation and not to take strong decisions in favor of the Palestinians.
