Gaza, April 28, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) – Israeli occupation forces opened fire today toward a peaceful demonstration in east of Gaza against the Israeli buffer zone in the Gaza-Israel border and injured a Palestinian protester.
The Director of Emergency Services at Al Shefa hospital, Dr. Muawiya Hassanein, said that one of the protesters was shot in his leg while he was participating in the demonstration. His medical status is stable.
The popular committee to resist the buffer zone called for the weekly peaceful demonstration where the demonstrators rise Palestine flag and call to end the occupation.
Last week, Nidal Al Naji (18) was shot in the right thigh, Hind Al Akra (22) was shot in the stomach and Bianca Zimmit (28) from Malta was filming the demonstration when she was shot in her left thigh.
