8ECACF446_copy_copyGaza, May 10, (Pal Telegraph) Hundreds of citizens volunteered for harvesting agricultural lands located on the eastern border of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, another step towards defying the buffer zone which is adjacent to the territory of the citizens. The rally was organized by the Popular Campaign against the Buffer zone in the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis, where the demonstrators raised their flags on the barbed wires that separates the Gaza Strip from the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967 and chanted slogans condemning the buffer zone. Sources confirm that the march was held to help farmers in harvesting their crops which they could not do because of the Israeli occupation practices against the owners of the lands and opened fire at them when they tried approaching their lands. Sources also pointed out that the demonstrators at the rally stressed full solidarity with the owners of the lands and harvested the crops in a new step to defy the buffer zone.
