1 killed, 125 injured during Nakba clashes in Gaza Strip

Gaza Strip, (Pal Telegraph)-One Palestinian was killed and several injured as Israeli army attacked the non-violent rally held by Palestinian youths in the north of Gaza Strip to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of Al-Nakba day.

Adham Abu Silmya, medical emergency spokesman, said that more than 125 Palestinians were injured including a photojournalist; many of them were treated due to the effect of tear gas inhalation.

He added that all victims were evacuated to hospitals in the north and central of Gaza Strip to receive medication.

Pointing out that a Palestinian photojournalist known as Mohammed Othman was hit in his head by a bullet fired by Israeli soldiers. His health condition was described as serious.

medical sources announced today the death of a Palestinian youth,18, who was killed by Israeli gunfire in the east of Gaza city .

Witnesses told that Israeli forces stationed along the border line lunched deliberately at least four artillery shells at Palestinians who peacefully marched to mark al-Nakba Day leaving many Palestinians injured including ten children.

Hundreds of Palestinian residents and activists in Gaza Strip joined today demonstrations in commemoration with the 63rd anniversary of Al-Nakba day.
