Gaza Strip, (Pal Telegraph)-A Palestinian youth was killed Monday in a tunnel collapse beneath Rafah-Egypt borders.
Adham Abu Silmiya, medical emergency spokesman, said that the man identified as Sami Al-Nadi,22, a resident from Khan Younis, was killed when a smuggling tunnel collapsed over him.
He added that the dead body was transferred to Abu Yousif Al-Najjar hospital in Rafah city.
More than 160 Palestinians have been killed during their work in those tunnels since February, 2006. Many of them died as a result of such similar incident, electric shock, bombing, or suffocation.
Residents of Gaza attempt to smuggle their goods prevented by Israeli authorities in order to improve their lives under Israeli's inhumane siege.
