Gaza Strip, (Pal Telegraph)-The financial crisis in the besieged Gaza Strip made resident unable to buy their goods needed in Ramadan or even to celebrate this holy month.

Despite the great markets that were opened in the past month, traders noticed the few number of buyers who haven’t received their full salaries since the start of July.

Traders announced a major sales campaign on their products in order to encourage people to buy their goods in Ramadan, but they bought a little because they were worried from the unknown future.

A Palestinian family in Gaza city said "we are not able to visit or invite our relatives without having money. Money is basically needed in Ramadan to do our duties toward our relatives, neighbors, and friends as part of our Islamic culture".

In Ramadan, residents of Gaza Strip are still suffering from a serious shortage in the supply of electricity especially in theses very hot summer days.

The economical situation in Gaza Strip has been deteriorated due to Israeli inhumane siege imposed for more than five years, raising poverty and unemployment among Palestinians of the coastal enclave.
