Gaza, (Pal Telegraph) -  Since midnight, Israeli occupation forces launched a series of airstrikes all over the Gaza Strip targeting civilian and sites in pretext of chasing resistance fighters. People of Gaza spent a night of fear and panic.

Airstrikes hit a civilian house that belongs to Abu Samra family, killing one 13-year-old child and injuring 5 other family members. Soon after that Israeli jet fighters hit Ansar main Security Compound southern west of Gaza City. Simultaneously, Israeli fighter jets hit Palestinian Academy for Security Sciences, former presidential compound in Gaza. Total raids exceeded 40 in various across Gaza.  

Apache helicopters targeted several places in Khuza’a village, eastern Khan Younis governorate, Asdaa’ Media Town in a former settlement in Khan Younis, and heavily attacked border area, specifically tunnels that bring goods into Gaza. 

Israeli media sources reported that at least one Israeli soldier was killed by Egyptian security manning the Egyptian-Israeli borders. It is worth mentioning that Egyptian security previously during the day has decided to close down Rafah Crossing unilaterally following the attacks on southern Israel.

Palestinian medical sources confirmed the killing of one 13-year old child named Mahmoud A. Abu Samra and injury of at least 40 others.  Death toll reached 8 in less than 8 hours.

Palestinian Ministry of Health declared state of emergency all across the Gaza Strip and called medical professionals on leave to respond to any possible deterioration in the situation on the ground.
