World, March 5, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) -In a phone call to the Palestine Telegraph, a Palestinian man told us that he had called Swiss authorities to advise them about the fate of his daughter.
The Palestinian father is very sad and suffering due to his missing daughter - who according to him - has been either kidnapped or killed.
Talal Hasan Ismail Salah, age 54, seemed exhausted and overwhelmed.
He was originally born in Gaza, lived in Iraq and worked for the PLO and Fateh movement before he migrated to Switzerland in 1998 where he sought asylum.
According to Talal, his family was scattered due to his political involvement regarding the Palestinian cause.
The mother left the family and took some of the children with her; whilst the elder daughter remained with her dad where they both worked as Palestinian activists in Geneva.
Talal Salah said: "I was treated badly and it was in a racist way due to my political history. The Swiss authorities are complicit in this crime. My son is in prison for no reason - and I can't see him while my daughter is missing and the authorities are not giving me any help."
The daughter's ordeal began on 31-1-2009, when it became apparent that she was missing since she has not come back to her home. Her name is Neran abu Hamad, she was born on 9-11-1978, pitcured above with her dad Talal.
"My daughter was about to graduate from university where she studied computer science; however, she is missing and her whereabouts are a puzzle for me", the fathers stated.
The background of the story started when Neran suffered from an eye problem; according to her dad, she was very healthy.
The doctor transferred her to the hospital for further investigation. Since then, she started to have severe problems in her immune system and her health deteriorated. He, the dad, assumes she might have been given wrong mecations aiming at killing her.
According to her father, Neran was a very active Palestinian - who worked on fundraising and solidarity events in support of besieged Gaza.
The heart-broken father accused Israeli intelligence and Swiss authorities of knowing the fate of his daughter - who is still missing.
The Palestine Telegraph (PT), tried to contact the Swiss interior Ministry, unfortunately, there was no reply from the Ministry.
PT will try to contact the parties who Talal claims are guilty in the abduction his missing daughter.
Talal Salah, calls on anyone who can help to give a helping hand regarding the fate of his daughter.
He has informed: Amnesty International, the UN, Swiss government, Israeli embassy and many other organizations, but so far, none of the agencies have helped him.
Talal said: "All I need is my daughter; please bring my daughter back to me. She deserves to have a proper life like all other children around the world. I call on individuals to help me: start campaigning and organize and sign petitions."
The father pictured above with his missing daughter, informed many International Humanitarian organizations like the UN, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and others but none were able to provide him any formation about Neran.
Talal, asks everyone to help by calling the Swiss authorities and Human Rights associations to disclose his daughter's fate - whether she is dead or alive.
According to Talal, he phoned the Red Cross asking for their assistance in finding his missing daughter and the answer was: "this is a hard story and we can't help; we have sent you written letters that point out we can't help."
Please call her dad, Talal, for Information and/or Solidarity:
