West Bank, (Pal Telegraph)-Israeli settlers attacked on Friday Palestinian farmers who were trying to harvest their olive trees in the village of Irraq Burin, southwest of Nablus.
Witnesses told that dozens of Israeli settlers arrived at the village, started attacking farmers, and attempted to steal sheep belonging to Palestinian shepherds, but they failed after villagers threw stones and rocks at them.
Israeli forces finally intervened and lunched tear gases and rubber bullets at Palestinian villagers , causing several suffocation cases, witnesses added.
Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank used to be subjected to various Israeli abuses and harassments during the olive harvest season.
