West Bank, February 4, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Israeli occupation forces detained 22 Palestinians from different cities of the West Bank Wednesday night and Thursday at dawn.
They detained seven Palestinians near Qalqilia, three from Ramallah, one from Jenin, eight near Bethlehem and three from Hebron.
The arrest operation was conducted despite bad weather conditions. The detainees were transferred to Israeli investigating centers for questioning.
"The arrestees are wanted by Israeli security for connections to acts against Israeli interests," the spokesman for the Israeli army claimed. The same justification was given for the arrest of 12 Palestinians in the West Bank Tuesday night.
