XAG004.jpg_wa-300x1841West Bank, March 16, 2010 (Pal Telegraph)- Patrols of Israeli occupation army raided before Tuesday afternoon several streets and neighborhoods in western Hebron's Nuba town, the West Bank.

Witnesses said: "A force of Israeli occupation army and heavily armed patrols roamed around the town in a provocative manner, wandered among the town's residences, and pulled out without any arrests."

In Bethlehem, Israeli occupation forces established a military watchtower at the occupied Beit Jala, in the southern West Bank

In a statement, Palestinian professor and activist Mazin Qumsiyeh said that Israeli occupation forces established a military tower in the region, which oversees many areas of Bethlehem.

He said that occupation forces have worked for several weeks to establish this military tower, but popular resistance campaigns carried out by locals and foreign activists delayed the completion of the building.

He added that Israeli occupation forces yesterday night arrested the 25-year-old Omar Aladdin, an activist in the Popular Campaign against the Wall in Bethlehem, referring to Israeli repression and abuse being faced by the popular resistance in many parts of the West Bank.

Qumsiyeh called to act strongly, by all means of demonstration, boycott, shouting, singing, whispering and dancing, to resist the occupation.
