West Bank, March 17, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Today, clashes erupted between students and the Israeli occupation forces in Betna village, south of Nablus, in northern West Bank.
Eyewitnesses told SAFA news agency that the clashes took place at the entrance of the village, when the Israeli soldiers fired tear gas at the demonstrators, but no injuries were reported.
The sources added that Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance of the village and prevented citizens from leaving it.
Such clashes take place from time to time in the village of Betna between the villagers and the Israeli occupation forces who confiscate hundreds of Palestinian agricultural land there.
