Israel intensifies military actions in WB checkpoints

barrierWest Bank, March 18, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Israeli occupation force erected a sudden checkpoint on Thursday at Aja crossroads Jenin - Nablus Street, in Jenin in the West Bank. It blocked the traffic and checked the citizens' ID cards. It also tightened its military actions on the Al-Container checkpoint in Bethlehem.

Eyewitnesses said that three military patrols stationed in the street early morning, checked the citizens' ID cards and searched some vehicles at randomly, SAFA news agency reported.

Israeli occupation forces, at dawn, invaded Araba town, south of Jenin, where they set up a checkpoint on the road that connects the town with the neighboring e village, Kafr Rai, while no arrests were reported.

The Israeli occupation forces escalated their security and military presence in Al-Container checkpoint, north of Bethlehem in the West Bank, where dozens of cars were lined up at the checkpoint waiting for the IOF permission to pass.

The citizens who were waiting on the barrier expressed their anger against the Israeli occupation racist policies, noting that the occupation forces humiliate them on these checkpoints.
