Nablus, March 21, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian youth and another was seriously wounded yesterday during a clash in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian hospital officials said.
The youths had been taking part in a demonstration in which stones were thrown at Israeli soldiers near Nablus. Palestinian hospital officials and witnesses said the Mohammed Qadous16-year-old was killed by Israeli gunfire.
The Popular Struggle Coordination Committee, a Palestinian activist group, said in a statement that Mohammed Qadous was shot in the afternoon after a crowd of Palestinian demonstrators protested restrictions on access to their lands beneath the Jewish settlement of Har Brakha.
