West Bank, March 23, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Israeli occupation authorities delivered demolition warnings against eight Bedouin in the area of Ras Khamis, near Shuafat camp east of occupied Jerusalem.
The official for Jerusalem portfolio in Fatah, Hatem Abd Al-Kader said: "All of Mohammed, Hassan and Hatem Krishan received demolition warnings against their homes in the coming period."
Abd Al-Kader said today that he is worried about the fact of these warnings which could be the foundation to implement settlement plan which had been announced previously in the region.
He added that the scheme seeks to build 2000 housing units which will separate Ras Khamis, Shoufat camp and Anatas village from Jerusalem.
He pointed out that these families, the Bedouin, own the houses for more than 60 years. Besides, he confirmed that he will follow up these demolition warnings legally seeking to issue preventive orders to prevent the demolition.
