Nablus, March 30, (Pal Telegraph) The association of friends of Palestine and in collaboration with the Ministries of Youth, Sports and Culture declared the continuation of preparations to launch of the largest Palestinian muffler “Kuffeyeh” and the preparation for its entry in the Guinness book of world records.

Organizers said the idea behind the project is creating a huge scarf, which will have a length of 500 meters and the width of 5 meter, its still under preparation and in the case of the completion it will be internationally announced and the official date for release will take place thru activities of official and popular formal ceremony near the tomb of late President Yasser Arafat.

They pointed out that there is a coordination and cooperation between the parties involved in the project, namely the Association of Friends of Palestine along with thee Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Culture.

It is said that this project completed had started on January 31 of this year and was expected to be completed on land day anniversary, but the objective conditions related to communication with the officials of Guinness was responsible on preventing the project of being completed in time.

The launching of this project collected the interest and encouragement of the Arabic, local and international region; therefore the media expressed huge interest in constantly covering this event and its updates.
