Speculations about Zaki's release Today

Abbas-Zaki-420-11708122244Ramallah, April 1st, (Pal Telegraph) Palestinian sources confirmed the indications of a possible release today of the captive member of the Central Committee of Fatah, Abbas Zaki, , by setting a fine he should pay during a court hearing, which is still in session in Ofer militant prison. According to those sources that confirmed the release of Zaki should have taken place yesterday, but he refused to leave the prison without the release of other detainees who were arrested with him, they were 12 prisoners.

Zaki refused to enter to the courtroom alone and demanded the presence of the rest detainees, to emphasize that his fate will be linked to the their fate.

A staff lawyers from the Ministry of Prisoners Affairs and detainees Club took over the responsibility of advocating Zaki and the rest of the detainees at the court hearing, which is expected to issue its decision on today’s afternoon in the arrest and capture of Zaki and and the others.

The atmosphere was relatively peaceful in the vicinity of Ofer militant prison where official of “Fatah” movement indicated to the possibility of releasing Zaki today.

 

As we mentioned earlier, te Office of Abbas Zaki, member of the central committee of Fatah, confirmed the presence of the European Union members aside with the French Consulate and the Spanish consulate for the trial of Zaki, a member of the Central Committee of Fatah and the General-Commissioner of the Arabic relations.

The Bureau stressed on the continuing mass and popular rallies in all provinces and denunciations of Arab and international appeal for  the immiediate and unconditioned release of Zaki.

According to close sources to Zaki, that representatives of the Spanish Embassy and the French Embassy and representatives of the EU confirmed their intention to attend the hearing.

The spokesman for the French Foreign Ministry, today, urged the Israeli government to release the member of the Central Committee of Fatah Abbas Zaki, who was arrested while attending a peaceful demonstration for and with the people of Bethlehem.
