Jerusalem, April 19, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) – The Palestinians in Al-Azriah town near Jerusalem participated yesterday in the funeral of Raed Abu Hmad, 31, who was found dead in his cell Friday in Eshel Prison in the Negev where he spent five years in the Israeli jails.
Hmad who was sentenced to ten years, resident of Al-Azriah town near Jerusalem, was suffering from various diseases, although the Israeli authorities ignored the repeated callings to release him, Ahrar center for prisoners’ studies and human rights said.
The center called to establish a probing committee to investigate the real reasons of Abu Hmad death.
