Israel bans Bilin resident from traveling abroad

5974_101291603218545_100000131186902_37446_7870666_nBi’lin, May 2, (Pal Telegraph) Ha'aretz reported that the Israeli intelligence prevented on Saturday, a resident of “Bi’lin” area,  who is active against the process of building the apartheid wall, from crossing the "The Prophet" bridge on his way to attend a conference held in Europe. Iyad Burnat, said that he wants to talk at these conferences about the presence of the unjust apartheid wall, which eats up the territory of the Palestinian citizens and separate between families in the region.

Burnat, 37, married with three children, have arrived to the bridge accompanied by his daughter who is only 4 years old.

It is noteworthy that "The Prophet" bridge is under the Israeli control, no one can pass it unless he gets the approval of the Israeli intelligence.

The newspaper also said, that the officer in charge made "Burnat" wait until they check his identity papers through the computer, noting that, after 3 hours he was notified to return from where he was, arguing that they heard back from the intelligence and that the rejection is based on security reasons.
