West Bank, May 6, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided last night several towns in the west of Jenin where they made search operations and detained a citizen in Qabatiya and another one in the West Bank city of Tubas.
According to local sources, the operations were concentrated in the towns of Qabatiya, Barqeen, Al-Hashemya, Kafr Dan and Kafr Qod, adding that Israeli soldiers searched the open agricultural land.
The occupation forces cut the road between the towns of Barqeen and Al-Shohada and searched the citizens ‘vehicles, especially the farmers.
Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen Ammar Naji Camile, 30, after the forces raidine a large the town of Qabatiya south of Jenin and searching several houses.
The IOF erected early morning a barrier on the street of Jenin - Nablus and obstructed the traffic, no detentions were reported.
The Israeli occupation forces detained at dawn today a citizen from Al-Fareah refugee camp on Al-Hamra military checkpoint which separates Tubas and Jericho.
Local sources said that the IOF detained Ali Hassan Al-Tayeh, 23, from Al-Fareah refugee camp while he was heading to work in the city of Jericho.
