IOF detains 3 Palestinian women and their children

ki-womanWest Bank, May 19, 2010 (Pal Telegraph) - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained Tuesday evening three Palestinian women and their children under the pretext of finding them in a land near the settlement of "Mabo Dotan" which locates near the town of Araba, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The women were picking up vine leaves while the Israeli occupation forces raided the site and took them and their children to the settlement, where they were interrogated for hours. The IOF warned them of approaching the surrounding lands of the settlement, SAFA news agency reported.

The sources added that women were released today. The women are Neveen Irsheid, 45, and her children: Tulin, Naden, and Ahmed, and the two citizens Kefaya Daqa, 40, and Jehan Sa’abna, 42.

The Israeli settlers and IOF attempt to make the lands surrounding the settlements prohibited to their Palestinian owners in order to confiscate them in the future. Settlers and IOF attack everyone works in his own land in those areas whcih surround the settlements.
