West Bank, (Pal Telegraph)-Dozens of Israeli settlers attacked Bedouins  in the area of Ain Helwa in the north of al- Aghwar and severely beaten a citizen and his wife inside their home forcing them to evacuate the region. Israeli attack caused a state of fear and panic among civilians.

The mayor of the village council, Aref Daragma, said “Israeli settlers made a sudden assault to a house owned by Sati Daraghma who was beaten with his wife.”

Daraghma pointed out that it was not the first time for Israeli soldiers to attack women inside their homes .A number of those settlers were exhibited in al-Aghwar  following their withdrawal from settlements in Gaza Strip.

Villagers appealed the international community institutions and human right organizations for urgent action to stop the Israeli brutal practices taken against innocent and poor people.

Ali Daraghma, a resident of Ain Helwa, said “ tens of settlers harassed shepherds  in Ain Helwa at night and attempted to size their cattle.”

Sources indicated that occupation authorities are working to confiscate 3000 dunums of Ain Helwa lands and to displace its residents in order to serve political purposes.
