London, (Pal Telegraph) - An expert has advised patients considering plastic surgery to seek out multiple consultations prior to any cosmetic procedure.
Health and beauty expert Zara Rabinowicz also claimed it is important to ensure the professional performing the procedure was fully accredited.
Whether it is major breast augmentation or smaller measures like non-invasive wrinkles treatment, Ms Rabinowicz urged patients to "make sure that [a] surgeon is registered" with the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons
They must also be someone who a patient feels comfortable around, with the expert adding that "surgery is a major procedure, so shop around till you are comfortable with the clinic - focus on how you feel more than the price".
On August 16th, in a survey of 3,000 British women aged between 18 and 30 for Liberate Cosmetic Surgery, findings revealed how 25 per cent of women started to consider plastic surgery between the ages of ten and 15. The ratio increased to one in three women between the ages of 15 to 18.
