The Arrogance and Aggression of Western Politics

E-mail Print PDF

The_Three_StoogesUSA, October 1, 2009, (Pal Telegraph) - The three stooges put in a very rare appearance in Pittsburgh this week drawing crowds both inside and outside the complex.

The crowd inside was carefully orchestrated with worshipers of the self imposed G3. The crowd outside were just ordinary people trying to find a balance of justice in the world. The crowd inside clapped when the appropriate cue card went up. The crowd outside were fired upon with tear gas and aggressively moved on.

It is so refreshing to see these three faces from the past adorn our screen. Their tactics remain unchanged and extremely entertaining. At times they bring tears to your eyes (especially for those people outside of the complex). We see in their faces true sincerity and compassions towards fellow man.

In_chainsIt is during such moments that one feels intense pride that you belong to the west. That you live in a free democratic society where you have freedom of speech, expression and movement (even if there is a large army outside armed with batons and firing tear gas at you)....this is the core of democracy!

How can one express the emotions of listening to your three leaders telling the rest of the world what they must do in order to strengthen their resolve! How wonderful it is to hear them condemning North Korea and Iran for their development in the nuclear industry and demand that they open their doors to the IAEA but say nothing about their own and Israel's.

We saw one of the newly adopted G3 members emerge with no maturity or experience and show his authority to the world. This new leader swept the world with so much emotion that people really believed he was the chosen one and would effect the change that he promised.

We saw hope when Obama entered the world stage and one can never forget the emotions of that night in Chicago when he walked out in front of a vast crowd and reduced many people to tears, including myself. But alas this was not to be; instead we saw the same aggression emerge with the same aggressive foreign policy that sealed once more our ability to seek peace and understanding in this world.

We saw the same imperialistic greed to control the world's oil reserves at whatever the cost. We saw the same economic greed eliminate all those who stood in the way. We saw the very well orchestrated collapse of the world financial markets leaving those that have take everything away from those that don't have.

We saw those that caused the problem recover very quickly with tax payer's money leaving the poor to foot the bill over the next ten years or so. We saw companies fail and watched those unscrupulous dealers pick through the carcasses of the dead and take what they wanted at give away prices.

We saw diversionary tactics come into operation with "Swine Flue" that has not caused anymore deaths than any normal flue virus. We saw the bullying of third world countries by the G20 on climate change which in itself is an absolute farce. Of course intelligent people know that this ploy by the west is to make third world countries less competitive by forcing them into new technology (which would probable mean a contract with the west, covered by funding from the World Bank or the IMF) and allow the G20 countries to decimate their markets.

Finally we have the bullying of North Korea and Iran by the so called G3 (or should that be G3.5 with Germany sitting in the background) on the nuclear issue when other countries were allowed to do the same such as Israel, India and Pakistan without the same aggression. What gives the President of the US, France and the British Prime Minster the right to stand on stage in Pittsburgh and dictate what the world should or should not do?

UNWe have seen and continue to see the failings of the United Nations and its extremely weak Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon. Just like its predecessor The League of Nations stands as a failure to the normal world whilst the members from the G20 control it. Our world is truly in a very sad state with no recovery in the foreseeable future.

Obama_at_AIPACIn his run up to Presidency we saw him address the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and said the following:

"I want you to know that today I'll be speaking from my heart, and as a true friend of Israel. And I know that when I visit with AIPAC, I am among friends. Good friends. Friends who share my strong commitment to make sure that the bond between the United States and Israel is unbreakable today, tomorrow and forever"

He went on to say: Nothing reflects the face of AIPAC more than the 1,200 students who have travelled here to make it clear to the world that the bond between Israel and the United States is rooted in more than our shared national interests - it's rooted in the shared values and shared stories of our people. And as president, I will work with you to ensure that this bond is strengthened.

During this speech he drew reference to the fact that he deeply understood the Zionist Idea. He talked about what he had learnt about the horrors of the Holocaust and the discovery of huge piles of dead bodies and starving survivors.

It became obvious that Obama was desperately seeking the support of the AIPAC that is so essential in American politics.

He made some pretty impressive commitments during this talk when stated: "60 years later, we know that we cannot relent, we cannot yield, and as president I will never compromise when it comes to Israel's security" "Not when there are rockets raining down on Sderot, and Israeli children have to take a deep breath and summon uncommon courage every time they board a bus or walk to school"

Later he also said: "I met a family who saw their house destroyed by a Katyusha rocket. I spoke to Israeli troops who faced daily threats as they maintained security near the blue line. I talked to people who wanted nothing more simple, or elusive, than a secure future for their children" "part of our commitment must be speaking up when Israel's security is at risk, and I don't think any of us can be satisfied that America's recent foreign policy has made Israel more secure."

Cleaning_up_Gaza_styleAs we can see from the picture on the left, Gaza remains a major threat to Israel and its close ally the USA, Maybe this gentleman sweeping his bombed out apartment has a firework launching facility in his basement! Or shows hatred towards Israel because members of his family were killed by the IDF onslaught?

The future President's speech brought music to the ears of every member of AIPAC when he said: "Hamas now controls Gaza. Hezbollah has tightened its grip on southern Lebanon, and is flexing its muscles in Beirut. Because of the war in Iraq, Iran - which always posed a greater threat to Israel than Iraq - is emboldened and poses the greatest strategic challenge to the United States and Israel in the Middle East in a generation. Iraq is unstable, and al-Qaida has stepped up its recruitment. Israel's quest for peace with its neighbours has stalled, despite the heavy burdens borne by the Israeli people. America is more isolated in the region, reducing our strength and jeopardizing Israel's safety."

G3"The Palestinian people must understand that progress will not come through the false prophets of extremism or the corrupt use of foreign aid."

"We must free ourselves from the tyranny of oil. The price of a barrel of oil is one of the most dangerous weapons in the world. Petrodollars pay for weapons that kill American troops and Israeli citizens."

"You do as we say"

"Finally, let there be no doubt: I will always keep the threat of military action on the table to defend our security and our ally Israel" "That is the change we need in our foreign policy. Change that restores American power and influence. Change accompanied by a pledge that I will make known to allies and adversaries alike: that America maintains an unwavering friendship with Israel and an unshakeable commitment to its security."

Now that our readers are glowing with pride and determination lets just start looking at some of the above points:

Our shared national interests - is rooted in the shared values : Does this mean that American's share the same ambition to land grab as much of someone else's territory or bulldoze the property of those that already exist? Does that mean that American's agree to enter someone else's land and carry out clandestine operations whenever it so chooses and forcibly take innocent activists into custody?

NeyanyahuHe deeply understood the Zionist Idea: Do this mean that the President and the people of the US deeply understand and support Zionism? If so where will they live? On Palestinian land?

The Holocaust and the horrors of starving survivors: Does the President and the people of America see the same horrors in the starving population of Gaza? Do they agree with the slow genocide their friends have created?

"I will do what I want"

Not when there are rockets raining down on Sderot, and Israeli children have to take a deep breath and summon uncommon courage every time they board a bus or walk to school" : Does the President and the people of America feel the same way when the IDF disproportionately used illegal weapons on a high densely populated city and deliberately targeted schools, hospitals and ambulances?

A secure future for their children Doesn't the President understand that the vast population of Gaza are mainly young people and that their parents in the Gaza Strip want exactly the same for their children?

Hamas controls Gaza. Hezbollah tightened its grip and flexed its muscles in Beirut. Iran posed a greater threat to Israel than Iraq and the greatest strategic challenge to the United States and Israel in the Middle East in a generation. Iraq is unstable, and al-Qaida has stepped up its recruitment: Israel has the most powerful military in the area, continuously flex's it muscle to those it doesn't agree with and has totally destabilised the Middle East. The US flexed its muscle in Iraq and Afghanistan for no other reason than to take control of the oil and gas reserves for its own economic greed.

The corrupt use of foreign aid: I can recall the US corruption in Iraq when it siphoned off vast sums of money in the oil for food programme. The US and UK as permanent members of the Security Council turned a blind eye to over-invoicing and allowed corruption at all levels. We saw the same apply with the Development Fund for Iraq that was primarily controlled by Americans. Billions of dollars were misused or went missing with no accountability required. Likewise the US gives billions of aid to Israel knowing that's it usage was to harm the Palestinians in so many ways. This was certainly the case with "Cast Lead" which was almost totally funded by the US. Isn't this a case of The pot calling the kettle black?

"We must free ourselves from the tyranny of oil. The price of a barrel of oil is one of the most dangerous weapons in the world. Petrodollars pay for weapons that kill American troops and Israeli citizens": The US and Israel have shown their greed to acquire oil at whatever the cost. It is the result of their actions in creating wars or conflict that forces up the price of a barrel and this then turns into extremely large profits for their respective owned companies. It is their greed to control the natural resources of the world that puts not only American troops but also all NATO and IDF troops at grave risk. We saw this in Iraq, Afghanistan and also in Gaza.

That is the change we need in our foreign policy. Change that restores American power and influence. You have not changed your foreign policy or lost any power; on the contrary you have taken Iraq, almost written its entire constitution and now totally control it. You control Afghanistan and now plan the hatching of your "Golden Egg" the TAPI pipeline that is killing all our troops. You are assisting Israel in keeping the natural resources of Palestine from its rightful owners and now you are flexing your muscles, along with the G3.5 to tell the rest of the world what it can or cannot do. Your current focus on global warming is deeply flawed and extremely selfish.

When one looks deep within the sinister programmes that are instigated by the G20 you realise that the rest of the world remains insignificant at the expense of their own economic greed. The term "Make poverty history" is an absolute joke.

Picture1-1They force their agenda on the developing world and create their so called "Global Markets" which in actual fact makes more people fall below the poverty line. For those already in poverty their policies drive them deeper into extremes of poverty with devastating results. The UN measures poverty as someone who lives on less that $2 a day. My experience in India shows they would be lucky to get 25 cents a day. One cannot measure poverty in such a way as there are no hard and fast rules. Each country and each community have there own special needs and this cannot be measured in the financial sense.

But hey!...lets now worry about the poverty we have created, lets not worry that we have propped up all the banks and left our respective countries in ruin now that our reserves have all dried up. We will cut back in all public sector areas such as Local Council, Hospitals, Fire, Police, Ambulance and Education. Get University Students to pay more and then get the poor people to pay it all back out of their meagre wages. Hey and guess what? We can even get more from them in other stealth taxes, they will never find out! How that for good planning?

But hang on a minute! Surely we have much more money to pump into the war effort...but be careful we don't want to spend too much on protecting out troops as we have to carry out more research on dirty weapons and on that "Mother of all bombs" we have been talking about! Remember we said that we would be using this in Afghanistan in 2010 to secure our pipeline and remove some of those that oppose our "Crusade" And Hey what about the space star wars programme and those hyper speed missiles and the other inter planet exploration programmes? The space shuttle lost a few tiles on it last re entry....oh and that's another big worry, how to replace these old shuttles? We also need lots of money for those Mars walking machines. Being the leader of a country isn't easy is it? So many important issues to address and so many priorities!!!!

ObamaObama said "Iran is speeding down a path to confrontation" he demanded that Tehran quickly "come clean" on all nuclear efforts and open a newly revealed secret site for close international inspection. He said he would not rule out military action if the Iranians refuse. Now which one is my true friend and ally?

Hey Mr. President does the same apply to your close ally and friend? And would you also use military action against them? As you see all is fair in love and war!

President Nicolas Sarkozy opened a new French military base in the UAE, their first permanent base in the Gulf called "Peace Camp" and is situation in Abu Dhabi. France, a leading military supplier to the Gulf state also signed a nuclear co-operation agreement. Its new base will house around 500 French troops, navy base, air base, and training camp...not a bad effort during a recession. No doubt the poor of France will pay the price!

Prime Minster Brown doesn't have enough money to provide urgent helicopters in Afghanistan. However, he will help in the Global Warming Crisis by reducing our Trident Submarine fleet by one! He didn't have enough money anyway!
